  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup sliced mushrooms

Dressing Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons bacon drippings
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, reserving the drippings.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the bacon drippings, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, and black pepper to make the dressing.
