  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ cup Milk at room temperature
  • ½ cup Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Sift the flour and baking powder together, then fold into the egg mixture.
  5. Gradually add the milk, mixing until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
