Strawberry Pretzel Salad Recipe

Pretzel Crust
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Cream Cheese Layer
- 1 package cream cheese, softened 8 ounces
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 container whipped topping, thawed 8 ounces
Strawberry Layer
- 2 packages strawberry gelatin 3 ounces each
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 packages frozen strawberries, sliced 10 ounces each
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate until set.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in frozen strawberries. Chill until partially set. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm.
