Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Strawberries hulled and sliced
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 cup Water
Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until strawberries are soft and syrup thickens.
Strain the mixture to remove solids, if desired.
Let cool before serving.
