Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Gradually whisk in the beef broth until smooth.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
