  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk

Topping

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup flour
  • cup butter melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, beaten eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix well.
  3. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans to make the topping.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
