  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cold butter cut into small pieces
  • ¾ cup milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add milk and stir until the dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
