Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 green onion, chopped optional

Instructions 

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the cooked noodles back to the pot and toss to coat in the sauce.
  5. Push the noodles to one side of the pot and crack the egg into the empty space. Scramble the egg until fully cooked.
  6. Mix the egg into the noodles.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onion if desired.
