Ingredients

  • 4 cups new potatoes, halved
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups peas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and carrots, cook for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Add green beans and peas, cook for another 10 minutes until all vegetables are tender.
  3. 3. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
  4. 4. Add butter, cream, and milk to the pot. Stir gently over low heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is heated through.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
