Main Ingredients
- 500 g Beef diced
- 2 Potatoes peeled and diced
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Carrot diced
- 500 g Shortcrust Pastry ready-made or homemade
- 1 Egg beaten, for glaze
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine the beef, potatoes, onion, and carrot. Season with salt and pepper.
Roll out the pastry and cut into 4 equal circles.
Place a portion of the filling onto one half of each pastry circle. Fold the other half over and seal the edges by crimping.
Brush the pasties with beaten egg for a golden glaze.
Place the pasties on a baking sheet and bake for 60 minutes, or until golden brown.
