Italian Chicken and Chickpeas

Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces Chicken Thighs boneless, skinless
- 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes
- 0.5 cup Chicken Broth
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
Add chickpeas, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, and basil. Stir to combine.
Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
