Ingredients

  • 2 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine olive oil, dried basil, dried oregano, dried thyme, dried rosemary, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
  2. 2. Heat the mixture over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not let the oil boil.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  4. 4. Strain the oil through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean bottle or jar, discarding the herbs and garlic.
  5. 5. Store in a cool, dark place or refrigerate. Use within a month.
