Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Italian Sausage casings removed
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Ketchup for topping

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
