Main Ingredients
- 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the baking dish. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until pork is cooked through.
Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
